Pay your debt with SPER
If you have a debt with the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) for an unpaid fine or penalty, the easiest way to pay it is online.
Pay online
Pay your debt using your client number or party ID (found on the top right of SPER letters).
This is the quickest way to stop or prevent enforcement action. If we've suspended your driver licence, we'll lift our suspension once you pay. It usually only takes about 5 minutes for our suspension to be lifted.
If you can't afford to pay in full now, you might be able to pay by instalments.
You can also check your outstanding balance.
BPAY
Contact your bank or financial institution to pay from your chosen account using BPAY.
Phone
To pay your debt in full, call 1300 742 926 and pay by Mastercard or Visa.
If you can't afford to pay in full now, phone 1300 365 635 (or +61 7 3013 4500 from overseas) to speak to us. Our call centre is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (excluding public holidays).
Have your client number or party ID ready when calling. You can find it on your fine or SPER notice.
In person
If your notice has an Australia Post Billpay barcode, you can pay at any Australia Post branch using cash, cheque, EFTPOS or debit/credit card.
Otherwise you can pay by cash or card at any magistrates court or Queensland Government Agent Program (QGAP) office.
